There has been an internet their entire lives.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This weekend some children were at the cookout, in particular a ten year old child.  I had asked this child what grade she was in and as she told me about applying to art school she held up a finger and said, "excuse me".  She pulled a cell phone out of her pocket and said hello!  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The children text message, chat, use the internet, type, they are connected.  We are going to continue to see the increase in internet use as the children who have used the network their entire lives graduate and become professionals.  The internet will continue to become the first resource to find anything that is looked for.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For the record: I believe that children should not be subjected to advertising; it is a multi-billion dollar industry driver though and highly unlikely to stop happening, but children have less of a chance, if anybody does, to decipher between and advertisement and real life. But the events marketing company failed miserably to realize the value of the opportunity; they failed miserably to ingrain a positive image of their company's brand; they failed by not integrating their company's brand with the event at all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Stage announcements are for woodstock, but bands, please tell us your name.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The event marketing company will go un-named, just like it did at the corporate event.  Their idea of event marketing promotion was to have a ten year old pass out "coozies" with the corporate sponsors name on it and a stage announcement by the city planner.  I do not believe this corporate company has a marketing department; if they were on the Trump TV show they would be getting fired.  This has nothing to do with the ten year old, he is not or should not be responsible for the success of an event marketing campaign.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Hire modern event marketing for modern events promotion.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First the entire idea was from the old world, not even glancing at the plethora of technology and innovation that is woven into all of our lives now like projections and the internet.  Staying with their ideas; with young people trying to make a mark on the event marketing platform it would not have cost much to attain the most energetic people to make sure that the promotional "coozie" was in the hands of everyone present.  I would at least increase the font on the "coozie" and use the URL of the company instead of only the corporate name on a plain coozie.  The "coozie" was boring and uninformative.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Coozies are cool.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I do like the theory behind a "coozie"; turning a Coke into another brand harnesses a hundred years of marketing and a sugar rush associated with a new brand.  Stage announcements from people involved with the shows are boring, stage announcements from corporate sponsors are super un-cool and can have a counter productive effect.  Why do a stage announcement and a lame commercial and why have them interfere with each other?  Poor planning ruined your opportunity to connect your name with a quality once a year opportunity to associate fun with your brands. &lt;br /&gt;I know hind sight is twenty twenty but the lack of vision in this event marketing campaign has emboldened my company's movement back into the event marketing and guerrilla marketing campaign.  Thanks un-named company who will always remain un-named.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;There is always another side to an event marketing production.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As a football player in high school I kicked the ball off to start the game.  My soccer friends would watch to see how good my foot is, but the call on the field was always for a squib kick.  A squib is a strategic line drive of a kick that bounces on the ground many times and does not go as far.  So from the stands it looked like I sucked when I was following a precise strategy. The color scheme of your website plays a large part to the initial feel of a site which determines if a person will click the back button or stay.  Be sure that your colors work together and are inviting.  If it burns your eyes to stay on your page then people will not stay on your page.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6) &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Include a picture&lt;/span&gt;, or pictures, and be sure to have the subject of the picture large in the frame.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7) Say your &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;message in the headlines&lt;/span&gt;.  Your headers should contain keywords and also need to say what your trying to say.  People scan pages when looking for things so your headers are what will be read. SEO's association with the luxury business is represented in the graph above.  I can tell you this much:  The key terms that get the hits in Jan and Feb have the words "cheap" and "for sale", as well as "Cape Cod" and "Healdsburg" representing the four phrases that have higher hits as shown on the graph.  A friend said today as I showed him this graph "statistical seo is like watching the matrix."  I said "yeah, it is the Matrix".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;What these numbers mean&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It means that targeting is most important.  Find who is buying.  Answer the question if you make changes in your keyword strategy will they take effect relative with those terms social importance?  Answer if it is wise changing the strategy in this market or maintaining the keyword strategy you have? Reinforce your strategies and stay ready to handle big jumps in hits and re-investment into the internet market just in case. Plural and singular- It matters in SEO</title><content type='html'>For beginners in SEO it can be hard to know if the terms you are trying to rank for will have different results when used singular and for the plural, or for the two word version of a phrase.  Well the answer is yes, it does matter.  Remember, computer code and algorithms use exact series of symbols, to a human being the plural is almost the same word, even more of that word.  But to a computer it is a completely different word, like the difference between "for" and "fort" or the number "328" and "3284"; big differences.  One can also view a different amount of searches for a term in its singular and its plural using Google's term tool.
